Logging in didn't go as expected?
When logging into QVscribe, you're getting an Active Directory error, or it's expecting a username and password when you don't expect to use one. Follow these steps below to change to the opposite authentication method.Switching to Active Directory
When logging into QVscribe for Excel or Word, you are prompted for a Username and Password. You know that you're able to authenticate with Active Directory.
Step 1:
Close Word/Excel.
Step 2:
Navigate to the installer you used to install QVscribe for Word or Excel and run it again.
Step 3:
Select Next.
Step 4:
Select "Modify"
Step 5:
Select "QVscribe Teams Server", verify your server address, and then ensure that "Authenticate with Active Directory" is checked. Select "Next".
Step 6:
Select "Install".
You should now be able to log into QVscribe and it will authenticate without the need of a Username and Password.

When logging into QVscribe for Excel or Word, you recieve an error that you are unable to log into Active Directory. You believe that you should be inputting a username and password.
Step 1:
Close Word/Excel.
Step 2:
Navigate to the installer you used to install QVscribe for Word or Excel and run it again.
Step 3:
Select Next.
Step 4:
Select "Modify"
Step 5:
Select "QVscribe Teams Server", verify your server address, and then ensure that "Authenticate with Active Directory" is unchecked. Select "Next".
Step 6:
Select "Install".
You should now be able to log into QVscribe and it will prompt you for a username and password.
